Q: What is the difference between a Home Traditional and Home Intensive Service?

A: The Home Intensive Service includes coverage for carpenter ants, bumble bees, hornets, yellow jackets up to 24 feet above the foundation of your home, cicada killers, firebrats, fleas, carpenter bees and silverfish. Grain pests such as grain weevils, Indian meal moths, red flour beetles, rice weevils, and saw-toothed grain beetles are also included. Services such as comprehensive reporting, ladder work up to 24ft., pruning and additional coverage for mailboxes, play sets, pool houses, and storage sheds.


Q: How long is the agreement for?

A: Home Service agreements are one year. Your program will automatically renew each year unless you call our customer service department to cancel.


Q: What happens if I have a pest problem after I sign up?

A: If you are experiencing pest activity at any time during your program, call our customer service department at 1-800-949-2667 to schedule a technician visit to your home. Both the Home Intensive Service and then Home Traditional Service include unlimited service calls for all pests covered under the service.


Q: Do I need to be home during the service?

A: Certain pests need to be treated within your home such as mice and fleas. Most pests can be controlled from outside of your home. Our goal is to use as little pesticides as possible within your home and only use it when needed to the areas where it’s needed.


Q: Can I purchase these services if I live in an apartment?

A: These services are designed for residential homes. If you are renting a room or an apartment within a residential home, please have your landlord reach out to our customer service department at 1-800-949-2667 for more information.


Q: What isn’t covered under the Home Intensive Service?

A: Wood destroying organisms including but not limited to termites, wood boring beetles, etc., flying insects such as gnats and mosquitoes, animal and bird control, wasp prevention, and bed bugs. Estimates for these services will be provided at no additional charge.

*Cooper does not provide wildlife management services including bats, flying squirrels, moles, voles, groundhogs, and birds. The only exception is squirrel removal, limited to Mercer County, NJ.


Q: What isn’t covered under the Home Traditional Service?

A: The following pests are excluded from the Home Traditional Service, but are covered under the Home Intensive Service: Carpenter ants, bumble bees, hornets, yellow jackets up to 24 feet above the foundation of your home, cicada killers, firebrats, fleas, carpenter bees, silverfish, grain pests such as grain weevils, Indian meal moths, red flour beetles, rice weevils, and saw-tooted grain beetles Services such as comprehensive reporting, ladder work up to 24ft., pruning, sealing of cracks and holes. Coverage for mailboxes, play sets, pool houses, and storage sheds. Q: Are the materials safe for my kids and pets?

A: All materials that Cooper Pest Solutions uses the lowest toxicity pesticides as possible. We follow directions as provided on the label and comply with state and FDA regulations. Q: How soon can you come out?

A: Our goal is to always provide same day or next day service.


Q: What are the payment options?

A: We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express or check. Payments are broken up into bi-monthly charges.


Q: How is the price determined?

A: The price of each Home Service depends on the square footage of your home.


Q: Are your technicians certified?

A: All Cooper technicians are state-certified and undergo rigorous training with our in-house entomologists. Ongoing training programs take place year-round.


Q: Do you have a guarantee?

A: Yes! We are confident that you will be WOWed by all of our services. That’s why we always offer a 100% guarantee.


Q: What if I find an insect that I can’t identify?

A: If you find an insect and don’t know what it is, you can call our customer service department for help.


Q: Are your services a la carte?

A: The individual pest coverage for the Home Intensive Service and the Home Traditional Service cannot be altered. There are additional services that can be purchased as a separate program for pests such as bed bugs, termites, boxelder bugs, ladybugs, stink bugs, mosquitoes, and wasp prevention.
